These Terms govern the Qoretix website, public materials, and one-page-scope requests provided by IXC Corp. (“IXC,” “we,” or “us”). Qoretix is IXC’s release-assurance system and service, not a separate legal entity. The scope and responsibility for paid work are defined in a separate statement of work (SOW) or agreement.
1. Scope
These Terms apply when you browse the website, use public materials, or request the one-page scope. If a separate agreement conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls the paid engagement. Mandatory law always prevails.
2. Service status
Qoretix is delivered by IXC. Features, delivery methods, review timing, and prices may change. Website descriptions and consultations are not binding offers or final quotations. Paid work begins only when IXC confirms a written quote or agreement.
3. One-page-scope requests
You must provide accurate, lawful information. IXC may decline a request because of scope, timing, conflicts, capability, legal concerns, or security risk. Submission does not create a booking or paid engagement.
4. Confidential information
Do not submit source code, passwords, API keys, national identification numbers, payment data, health data, or other sensitive or confidential information through the request form before a nondisclosure or service agreement is in place. Security, access, retention, and deletion terms for customer data, accounts, code, and materials needed for testing are agreed in writing before access.
4A. Security, data handling, NDA, and DPA
IXC makes a mutual nondisclosure agreement (NDA) and data processing addendum (DPA) available when the scope or customer requirements call for them. Access, processing location, retention, return or deletion, and incident-notification terms for environments, accounts, data, and evidence are defined in the SOW or agreement before testing access.
5. Test results and release recommendations
- Scenario-level test results use PASS / FAIL / BLOCKED / NOT RUN.
- Release recommendations use READY / READY WITH CONDITIONS / HOLD and are separate from test results.
- No result or recommendation guarantees defect-free or uninterrupted operation, security, legal or regulatory compliance, certification, or business results.
- A recommendation may no longer apply after changes to code, requirements, data, dependencies, infrastructure, or environment.
- The customer owns the final release decision. Exclusions, untested areas, residual risks, and stated assumptions must remain with any quoted result.
6. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the final release and operation decision, backups, security controls, legal and regulatory review, user notices, and required approvals. You must provide an accurate scope and testable environment and manage changes after the verdict.
7. Prohibited use
You may not break the law, infringe rights, transmit malware, exploit vulnerabilities, send excessive automated requests, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, submit false information, or alter or misuse a Qoretix verdict, signature, or mark in a misleading way. We may restrict access to protect the service and relevant rights.
8. Intellectual property
The website’s brand, design, copy, forms, software, and materials belong to IXC or their respective owners. Except for expressly permitted downloads and ordinary linking or quotation, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or use them as a mark without prior written consent. Rights in paid deliverables and client materials are governed by the separate agreement.
9. Third-party services
The website may use third-party hosting, CDN, email, and external links. Those services have their own terms. To the extent permitted by law, IXC is not responsible for an outage or change in a third-party service outside our reasonable control.
10. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the website or a feature for maintenance, security, incidents, legal requirements, or operational needs. We work toward reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the public website.
11. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights where applicable. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, IXC is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of data or profit, arising from free use of the website. Liability and remedies for paid services are defined in the separate agreement.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith. If unresolved, the courts with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act will hear the dispute.
14. Languages and changes
These Terms are available in Korean, English, and Japanese. If a translation conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version controls to the extent permitted by applicable law. Material changes will be announced before taking effect, and the effective date and version above will be updated.
